A session joins a customer record through the store’s own workflow and only there: an appointment check-in, a test drive registration, or a salesperson entering the action. Returning visitors are matched only through the consented path: a hashed plate read at the entrance under a posted policy, or a check-in the customer performs. Both switches ship off and are marked OPT-IN on the connections list.
Where a session was logged, the card shows the CRM name. Where it was not, it shows a chip your floor will recognize: “Family group · arrived in a 2019 Explorer.” That is exactly the information a callback needs, and nothing more.
